Eritrea Ruler's Djibouti Nightmare: UNSC won't let go, keeps the tyrant on its agenda

17 November, 2019

United Nations, New York - On Friday, 15 Nov 2019, the UN Security Council decided without objection to keep Eritrea Ruler, tyrant Isias Aforqi, on its agenda re the tyrant's border and POWs dispute with Djibouti. The Resolution requests the Secretary General to update the Council on this issue by 31 July, 2020. This action was incorporated in a resolution concerning the Situation in Somalia.

The Council's move to  keep Eritrea Ruler on its agenda dismayed China and Russia, who were banking on dealing with tyrant on trust basis, and bewildered Equatorial Guinea: They don't get it how a matter that has nothing to do with the issue at hand is incorporated in the said Resolution!
