“what is more important is that whoever is selected to the post that he has the full backing of the international community, specially the guarantors of the Algiers Agreement (i.e. the EU, the AU and the government of the U.S.A).” So does the EEBC ruling too !!! Only more fantasy and magical thinking! The border ruling ain’t going nowhere, it is and will remain there to stay with or without Axworthy!!!

They need to send emissaries to Meles to convince him the international community is serious about this. Aid ought to be provided to resettle Badme residents who can't abide Eritrea. Letting the work of the boundary commission go for naught could allow this conflict to fester into another war and would represent a dire precedent for border disputes around the world.”
