Where should have began democracy?

Reply to I.Megistab

Mr. I Mengistab, with all do respect, first and foremost it was nice to see you on the Eritrean gathering occasion once in a decade.  Before I answer to your questions you addressed to me, I would like to ask you also few questions.

In the beginning of your statement, I am amazed to read your statement referring to Mr. Adhanom as “Honorable Ambassador”. As far as we are concerned, he was an ambassador of Eritrea when you refused to accept his honorable ambassadorship, just because he was simply member PFDJ. He was your ambassador then not now. The time to call him “Honorable ambassador Adhanom” was, the time you refused to accept PFDJ is/was as part of GoE. Since you never honored his ambassadorship then, what pushes you to call him Mr. Ambassador now is not mystery for every one. Ambassadorship, is not also a traditional SHIMET,like c{›Lu, ´V›Lu , ©®›Lu.., etc that lives and dies with them, but we know your motives ,so as to call him ambassador too.

.

You said we don’t pay attention to the root cause of Eritrea’s problem. Even though you seem to have a valid point on that, but it is another just propaganda since you chose not to pay attention the root cause for so many years, to so many problems that our country faced. As recent as two month ago, you were invited to Dr. Tesfai Aradom meeting, regarding Eritrean orphans. The Orphans possibly, might lead to the upcoming of Eritrean generation. Why couldn’t you attend if you are, as you claimed to be “concerned” Eritrean .'l—E KMĂď„ďq ©XĚ l—E KąĚ„ďq ©XĚ'

You said what is the apparent rambling of some pro-GoE supporters they still think as is if Eritrea is not independent. Again '‘¨ |p] }HLp' with all do respect, I assume people who oppose the government of Eritrea such as you, are the ones who think Eritrea is not independent yet. If you are talking to the same Eritrea we know. I can assure you this, it is liberated, and I have enjoyed visiting at least ten times since independence. I saw Eritrean flag on the freedom avenue, and I was there as recent as three weeks ago, I guarantee you it is freed! if that’s what keeping you from visiting Eritrea, Of course I am pro-any Government who represent my country, regardless the political differences.  If you want to witness the liberation of Eritrea yourself, all you have to do is “go to Eritrea’’, the country that you left it, when it was in the hand of colonials. For introductory, Nakfa is our national currency and H.E Issaias Afewrki is the president of Eritrea.

On the other issue ,you tried to miss lead others to what I said:-

When I said to the concerned Eritrean, “now we know who they are!” you trying to put a word in my mouth, just like your champion ambassador Adhanom . Every one of you like to divert or miss lead Hafash. Well, '©©öIU …©ö˛ď ›Ť©] ...DK©'. I don’t know if the champion of deception (X ambassador Adhanom) left the torch of deception with you, but if you have it, you need to hand him over for his upcoming conference in Houston. When I said, “we know now who they are” I was only afraid if I was invited by some one else than Eritreans, or by the Mekele thugs, experiencing from the pervious meeting held in New Jersey. But I was wrong. All I did was, guess and hope for the best, if Eritreans organized the meeting. I was relieved, when I saw the people that I knew organized it. But too much hospitality of the X ambassador in a luxurious Boston hotel did not stop me from second guessing either, to say it can’t be only this 21 people organized it. You are trying  to play a dangerous game that you have been assembled it for so long , your hidebound is not going to work .

To the questions that you have asked me, which of the resolution Boston meeting are I am in agreement with. Mr. I.Mengistab, I can see now, being out of in touch from your own society for so long, is hearting you badly, because you are echoing the constitution of Eritrea that we have discussed with Ambassador Girma Asmerom. If you were really “concerned” about implementing it, you should have come and discussed it, when we had an opportunity for a free discussion with Ambassador Girma Asmerom in Boston. I will be more than happy to send it to you a copy of the constitution, if you haven’t received it yet .It is unfortunate some people like you, intentionally look for something bad in Eritrea rather than looking what’s good in Eritrea.

If you want to know, whether I support or oppose the resolution. The resolution that you have “red” with out a formal introduction; you should have given us an opportunity to the whole audience to vote for it or against it, instead of telling us to take as a “Decalogue”. You shouldn’t have asked me now either .because  it make no difference to you any way if I say yes or no. You already culled the “resolution” for us with out asking us. All the self called reformers, and their tails were roaring about democracy in Eritrea, but as you pretended you are fighting for democracy, you have failed to pass your resolution democratically & publicly but chose to roar for democracy.'L§ ™§mkDę {µŞ §kAF'So Where should have began democracy then? Isn’t that when it was given to you an opportunity to exercise it in the hall you stood.? But you have failed, your aim and intentions are crystal clear to majority of us; I certainly do not want to deal with a “souvenir” Eritrean Diaspora who brings more fire than water after a decade. If you think this is harsh statements, you are wrong , because you are harsher than I ,when you took my rights and used me as a tool to your resolution with my listening my knowledge. Every one should know it wasn’t unanimous vote, but a sole vote four-point resolution.. Mr. I.Mengistab, If you can’t exercise democracy in small hall I advice you not to join the crowd for some more decades.
