ERITREA in the eyes of Abyssinian Assab-maniacs |

All Eritrean ports in
geneal and the port of Assab in particular are open for business to all
countries of the world without exception 24x7 every day as we speak. Although
Ethiopia has no claim over the port of Assab and The Hague Commission has
nothing to do with it, following is one more cartographic presentation of how
educated Abyssinians nowadays are expressing their Assab-mania as a
reflection of what the last two-year war was all about!

The literary expression of Ethiopian
Assab-mania can be summarized as: “It is simply unacceptable
for Ethiopia to abide by the colonial era designs of Italy to strangulate
Ethiopia by denying her access to the sea.” That is now a bunk; Eritrea has never denied Ethiopia access to
the sea. Like all landlocked countries, Ethiopia has right to sea access but no
right at all to conquer and possess our seaports towards that end. Like
all other such countries, Ethiopia must come to terms with its coastal
neighbors and work out equitable contract to utilize their harbors based on
the mutual acceptance of sovereignty barriers and territorial integrity. ERITREA
