Beshir’s
ICC Case Aggravates Eritrea Tyrant’s Paranoia
23
July 2008( EritreaDaily)--Already the plane news that Sudan’s
president Beshir will be called to task in front of the International
Criminal Court for mutltiple charges against humanity has aggravated
Eritrea tyrant Afawerk’s schizophrenic paranoid ailment.
Tyrant
Afawarki rightly perceives this ICC move against a sitting president
as a bad omen for he is paranoid that it might create precedence for
him to stand in front of the same court too. This, tyrant Afawarki’s
perception of Beshir’s case is not far-fetched at all knowing
what the people and country of Eritrea have been subjected to with
impunity under his tyrannical reign.
Tyrant afawarki is well aware of
that and the following knee-jerk 3-liner response that he vented
through his Foreign Affairs surrogate yesterday tells it all:

The
drama that has unfolded in the past few days in the name of the
“International Criminal Court” has baffled many
observers.
This
phenomenon, which can only be interpreted as an “insult”,
is a manifestation of the harassment that has been accumulating.
As
such it must be rejected and challenged.
The
people and political forces of the Sudan should go beyond this to
prevent interference in and “internationalization” of
their domestic affairs. This can only be done if mistakes done in the
past are rectified to pave the way for a genuine Sudanese internal
solution.
