Turkey To Deport Illegal Migrants From Eritrea And Others

13 August 2008-- Turkish security forces intercepted 67 migrants in the western provinces of Aydin and Izmir as they were trying to proceed to Greece illegally late Wednesday.

The foreigners came from Afghanistan, Syria, Pakistan, Palestine, Eritrea, Somalia, China, Iraq, Georgia and Pakistan.

The illegal migrants were detained for violating Turkish borders and passport law. They will be deported once legal proceedings are completed.
