Eritrea: Foreign minister leaves for Russia

April 2005, EDnews (Text of report by Eritrean radio)- Eritrea Foreign
Minister Ali Sayyid Abdallah left for Moscow this morning on a working visit
to Russia at the invitation of the country's foreign minister.

During
his stay there until 16 April, Mr Ali Sayyid Abdallah will meet a number of
the country's officials to discuss the growing relations between Eritrea and
Russia and the measures that should be taken to implement cooperation accords
earlier reached between the two countries.

|
At
the end of his Russian visit, Foreign Minister Ali Sayyid will travel to
Indonesia to represent President Isayas Afewerki at the heads of state summit
of the Non-Aligned Movement due to be held in Jakarta from 20 to 24 April.
