Eritrea:
Asena To Launch Radio Broadcast To The Homeland
12
February 2009 (EritreaDaily)- Asena,
a very popular Eritrean opposition website published predominantly in
Tigrigna at www.assenna.com,
announced it is launching a Radio Broadcast to Eritrea starting
Monday, 16 February 2009. The Radio program will air from 8:30 PM to
9:00 PM local time on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and will be
operating on 9610 kHz or 31 meter band.
With
this move, Asena is capitalizing on its recent popularity and the
momentum this popularity generated to escalate and intensify the
struggle for constitutional governance and to take the struggle
directly to the seat of Eritrea tyrant Afawarki in Asmara and
Massawa.
At
this juncture in the fight for democracy in Eritrea, Asena's move is
a noble cause to support in words and deeds and a very good news to
celebrate. It is incumbent upon all peace, democracy, and justice
loving Eritreans to accord Asena's venture into the business of Radio
Broadcasting all the hype and hoopla it deserves.
Kudos
and power to you Asena! Go Asena!
Down
with and death to Isias Afaworki's tyranny!
Up
to a government of the people, by the people, and for the people, YES
WE CAN IN ERITREA, TOO!
PS:
Stay
tuned. We will soon post details of an 'Evening with Team Asena' on
Saturday, 14 February 2009, in our pal room: Eritrea Dembe Demokrasi.
Thanks.
