Eritrea
tyrant trashes African elections, declares full employment rate
Commentary,

In
an interview
on Friday with a reporter for the South African Broadcasting
Corporation, SABC, Eritrea tyrant Isias Afewarki bluntly trashed
African elections as hypocrisy and proclaimed, unlike South Africa ,
there exists 'full employment
rate'
in Eritrea.
In
a warped reference to recent elections in South Africa, “..
the mere casting of ballots can but only be described as hypocrisy,
and not democracy..”
and “...unlike
in many other countries, there exists full employment rate in
Eritrea,”
let Afewarki the South African reporter know in no uncertain terms!
Earlier,
on Tuesday, in an interview with reporters for Business Week Magazine
that specializes in Business in china, Eritrea tyrant had trashed
African governments as a system wrought with “favoritism..cronyism...
where for every government official there are probably over 300
relatives... people coming from here and there..not even educated...trying
to do the job..they are parasites in a system that will ultimately
collapse on its own”.
That
all beg the question: What is that tyrant Afewarki has with Africa,
African governments, and African elections? Only tyrant Afewarki
knows the right answer. But one thing is certain, tyrant Afewarki
does not get along with every thing that carries the label 'Africa',
like African Union (AU), African leaders, or East African
organization like IGAD for good reason: Every thing that carries the
labe 'Africa' refuses to bow in deference to Afewarki's tyrannical
dictates and modus operandi. And tyrant Afewarki operates according
to one of Hitler's slogans “Wer
ist nich für mich, ist gegen mich”
or 'He who is not for me is against me'!
Now
for the good news. The world has been hit with global recession and
the following unemployment and job loss. But Eritrea is not part of
it because it is the only country outside this world where there
exists full employment! Yet,
only thing Eritrea exports, mostly by torturous sea and by desert land, rarely by Air, is young labor force en
masse! Regardless: Hear ye! Hear ye!All victims of global recession
that are willing and able to work, move to Eritrea. A highly industralized and economically blooming country in East Africa! The country's currency, (never heard?) NAKFA, is hot! Forget media
reports about poverty and famine in Eritrea, nothing of that nature
until you hear some one died as a result!
Afewarki
lectured the South African reporter on Democracy too! “democracy
is not an end by itself”
lectured Afewarki, impressing the world with his exceptional grasp of democracy! Well, no one said Democracy is an end/event? It is
a process and that process , like every other process, has a
beginning? Some one has to manage, control, and guide the process in
order to achieve whatever Afewarki wants to achieve under the banner
of democracy?And
that some one is called a government? And that government is
established either by the decision of the ballets or the might of the
bullets? As far as Afewarki is concerned it is the latter. 18 years
into our independence Afewarki has never faced national elections!
Afewarki insists: Tyranny is right! Democracy? Only over Afewarki's
dead body!
That was a brief tale of arrant tyrant Afewarki lecturing a democrat on Democray!
