Who Sympathizes With A Tyrant But Another Tyrant?

Speaking at the
opening session of the 11th Session of the Conference of leaders and
heads of state of CEN-SAD taking place this weekend in Libya, Libya
tyrant Col. Muammar Gaddafi stood by and stuck his neck out for his
bosom friend and fellow tyrant-in-deep-trouble Eritrea tyrant Isias
Afewarki.
No
surprise there, for who else would sympathize with an arrant tyrant
but another tyrant? Don't they say 'birds of the same feather
flock together'? Gadaffi was only being loyal to the slogan
'Tyrants of the world, unite, justice is out to get you'! A
friend in need, is certainly a friend in deed!
As
an expression of his unwavering tyrannical solidarity with his buddy
Eitrea tyrant Afewarki, tyrant Gaddafi acknowledges as legitimate
Afewarkis “..boycott of meetings of CEN-SAD, AU and
Intergovernmental Authority for Development (IGAD)..” for
it constitutes “...protest against these regional and
continental organizations which have adopted “an attitude of
spectators” in Eritrea’s conflict Ethiopia,..”.
Now, what does Afewarki get out of the boycott except for sending
himself into self-imposed diplomatic and political isolation and
sulking in a corner like a child that couldn't have its way?
Braggadocio!
Afewarki boycotting CEN-SAD? That is yet another joke! CEN-SAD is Gadaffi's baby and Afewarki boycotting it would be a costly affront to his tyrannical buddy Gadaffi! Afewarki won't risk that! It is all by design because bemoaning Afewarki's absence would give Gaddafi an opportunity to lambaste the AU in the same breath for his own reasons: Lack of respect for his Chairmanship!
Now to the'attitude of spectator'thing. Tyrant
Afewarki himself and by his own words and actions has damned regional,
continental, and international organizations to “an attitude
of spectators” when he repeatedly declared and continues to
declare that “the chapter on the border issue is closed, there
is no other problem between Eritrea and Ethiopia, “virtual
demarcation' has closed the deal, no more talks, period.”!
Tyrant
Afewarki has even damned the people directly affected by the border
issue, the sovereign people of Eritrea, to “an attitude of
spectators” because he neither talks to, seeks advice and
consent from, nor consults the people of Eritrea about the matter in line
with his tyrannical grip on the Land and people of Eritrea?
Like
tyrant Afewarki, tyrant Gaddafi bemoans foreign intervention in
Somalia, blames west's attempt to exploit Somalia's marine resources
for piracy on the waters of Somalia, and decries AU Organs for not
respecting his position as current Chairman of the AU. Gaddafi is
delusional about the nature of the AU too! He talks about 'Federal
Authority' and the failure of AU organs to subordinate themselves to
this authority! Gaddafi feels his authority as the Chaiman of a
“Federal Union” undermined!
