While
Africa Summits, Eritrea Tyrant Wallows In Deep Isolation

 While
the rest of Africa is summiting, Eritrea tyrant Afewarki is, as
usual, wallowing in deep isolation again back home!
While the 13th
Ordinary Session of the Summit of the African Union Heads of State
and Government kicked off today, Wednesday, 1 July 2009, in the city
of Sirte (Libya), Eritrea tyrant Isias Afewarki is for obvious
reasons and as usual not part of it! Need I spell it out for you? OK.
It is not because of the presence of his arch nemesis south of the
border or the site of the summit, usual excuses. No. The meeting is
taking place at the land of his best bosom friend and fellow tyrant
Gaddafi, Libya. There couldn't be any favorable place for Afewarki to
be! Yet, after publicly calling for the destruction of AU to no
recognition, calling African leaders tools of Neo-colonialism and
agents of western spying agencies, and uneducated people trying to do
the job of government, Afewarki has been left with no friends in
Africa!
Consequently,
while the rest of Africa is summiting, tyrant Afewarki is, as usual,
wallowing in deep isolation again back home. In doing so, Afewarki is
taking the people and country of Eritrea down with him into isolation too for no fault
of their own!
Reportedly,
the issue of Somalia including IGAD's unrelenting call for UN
sanctions against Eritrea tyrant Afewarki will dominate the summit.
The
summit will be addressed by UN Secretary-General, Ban Ki-moon, the
Secretary-General of the League of the Arab States, Amr Moussa, and
the Brazilian head of State, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. The
summit will end on 3 July.
