Ever since independence nearly 19 years ago, Eritrea tyrant Isias Afewarki has been holding the people of Eritrea hostage: It is him and his tyrannical way or Eritrea would become history!

To that effect, Afewarki has kept Eritrea on a permanent war-footing, tolerating neither dissent nor opposition. Afewarki has isolated Eritrea from the rest of the world. He disappears all that question his tyrannical authority. Journalists are routinely imprisoned and despite countless promises, elections have never been held. In order to illustrate the grim, very grim situation in Eritrea , Al Jazeera's “People and Power” journal, yesterday, aired the following documentary under the theme 'State Sponsored Fear' together with the case of the Baluch people in Iran in its second part:
