Eritrea tyrant: We do not recognize the TFG in Somalia, it is a foreign body

Even at a time when the UN Security Council at the request of the African Union is finalizing a draft resolution to impose sanctions against him in matters Somalia, Djibouti, and the tyrant's overall stance in matters peace and security in the Horn of Africa, Eritrea tyrant Isias Afewarki is firm in his attitude toward Somalia: Afewarki told a seasoned Russian journalist emphatically, in no uncertain terms, loud and clear that he is against and does not recognize the transitional federal arrangement (TFG) in Somalia. Afewarki made those remarks in an interview with several Russian journalists on 26 November 2009 in Asmara, Eritrea and aired on national TV.

For starters, the TFG was established late January this year by and enjoys unequivocal financial, political, and diplomatic support of regional, continental, and international organizations including Afewark's fellow tyrant Gaddafi of Libya. The TFG was established to help bring about an all-inclusive government in Somalia.

Journalist: You know that now there is a very big problem with Somalia crisis. What is your position toward Somalia crisis?

Afewarki: We do not recognize the TFG. It is a foreign body... Listen to this part of the exchange here
