Tyrant hits National Soccer Team with Betrayal Of Nation
16
December 2009 Eritrea Daily
Speaking
through his right-hand man and information surrogate, Ali Abdu,
Eritrea tyrant Isias Afewarki yesterday hit the Eritrea National
Football team that refused to return home with betrayal of the people
and country of Eritrea and the flag they represent and held them
responsible for their action. Abdu made those remarks with BBC's
Focus on Africa program in a first reaction to the matter. Initially,
Eritrea tyrant had negated the news of the missing national team!
“They
have decided to go illegally and to betray the people, the country
and the flag they represent. They are primarily responsible for that”
Abdu told Hassan Arruni of the BBC.
The
Eritrean team: only the coach and an official flew back from Kenya!
When
asked what the players should expect if they changed their mind and
returned home, Ali said “we know only one welcome: Good welcome
home”! Now how do you accord people you hit with betrayal of
the nation and hold them responsible for their action “a good
welcome home”?! For more of BBC' interview with Abdu and CECAFA
