Eritrea tyrant Isias Afewarki facing UN Security Council sanctions by next week

Reacting to news that the Security Council was considering a draft resolution to impose sanctions against him at the request of the African Union about 3 weeks ago, Eritrea tyrant Isias Afewarki warned that the UN would regret such measures. But the UN Security Council did not cave in to such threats. Quoting diplomats, Reuters late this evening reported that the UN Security Council is poised to impose sanctions against Eritrea tyrant with the votes of China and Russia that Reuters quotes as being ''unusually cooperative” in this matter.
