Ruler Reports Deadly Border Clash With Ethiopia

, today reported of a deadly border clash with Ethiopian troops in
the early hours of the first day of the new year 2010. The incident
reportedly took place in the border town of Zalambesa.
“Zalambesa,
2 January 2010: In the early morning hours of January 1st 2010, TPLF
soldiers launched successive attacks in the Zalambesa front and were
swiftly driven back with 10 of their soldiers killed and two
captured, leaving six AK-47 automatic rifles, a machinegun and
communication equipments” said the report posted on the
front page of the website.
