When
the plane that carried Eritrea ruler Asias Aforqi and his entourage
touched down in Nice, France, for the France-Africa Summit (31 May-1
June), it was all Bonjour France! Well, that is not what one member
of Eritrea ruler's entourage had in mind. For this person, the clamor
was 'Bonjour France! Adieu L'Érythrée!'
for he was set not to fly back with the tyrant. The person, Mr. Simon
Mehari, stayed behind and sought political asylum in Europe.

reported today quoting reliable sources.
Mr.
Mehari is a longtime member of a tight circle of Eritrea tyrant's
confidants.
“Mr
Simon has served in the President’s office for several years
and had been to many official missions including in Africa.”
said the report.
