Eritrea's
Comical Ali, VOA Exposé! Audio

Like
Iraq, Eritrea has its Comical Ali too! Both akin in function
(propaganda chiefs, spin docs.), action, eccentricity and in
developing into cult figures for their bizarre explanation of events,
semantic acrobatics, and in the case of Eritrea's Ali for pervert
understanding of societal norms. There ends their similarity. The
difference: While the name Ali is a nickname in the case of Iraq, Ali
is the real name of Eritrea's Comical Ali, full name is Ali Abdu
Ahmed!
On
the occasion of Eritrea's 20th Independence Anniversary
next week, the VOA (Voice Of America) Tigrigna program yesterday
aired a brief interview with Eritrea's Comical Ali. Below is an
excerpt of what followed:
VOA:
This year's theme: 20 years of pride, explain?
Comical
Ali : We pride ourselves for hanging on for so long despite and in spite of all odds! [Editor's note: Damn righ, it is not easy to hang on to brutal tyrannical reign for so long, you can certainly be proud of it Comical Ali! Other than that, the sovereignty and national independence of the people and country of Eritrea has neither been threatened, nor is there and can be any reason whatsoever to be threatened ever. Fool us once, shame on us, do it again, shame on you!]
VOA:
Elections via ballot boxes, what say you Mr. Ali?
Comical
Ali : What elections? Ballot boxes yield body boxes! We do not
subscribe to that!
VOA:
Privately owned newspapers, radio and television stations in
Eritrea-Free Press, what says your government Mr. Ali?
Comical
Ali : There is no such thing called Free Press or State-owned
press, we have people-owned press in Eritrea!
VOA:
Freedom of religion/worship,
what sayeth your government Mr. Ali?
Comical
Ali: For over 1400 years,
Religion in Eritrea has been limited to Christianity or Islam!
Eritreans have the choice to worship either, that is freedom of
religion in Eritrea! No “political region” or “religion
politics” in Eritrea!
Listen
to entire interview (Tigrigna):
Enough
of clowning around! It is long past overdue time for the demise of
tyranny and reign of democracy in Eritrea. Isias and Co. must go!
Enough of Eritrea of the few, long past due time for Eritrea of ALL
in all aspects of life!
He
He, Ho Ho, Isias Must Go****
He
He, Ho Ho, the tyrant has to Go***
