Troops Rock House Of Eritrea Tyrant, Besiege Ministry Of Information
21 January 2013
Hundreds (by one count 200) of mutinous members of the Eritrean Defense Forces today stormed the Ministry of Information in what is being reported as an attempt to unseat Eritrea tyrant Isias Afareki. The action threw the camp of Eritrea tyrant into disarray.
The soldiers forced the director of EriTV to air messages calling for the release of political prisoners and implementation of the constitution, according to an African Union official. Those demands, coincided with what appeared to be moves to take control of the airport and other key installations in the capital, Asmara, according to Hassan Katembe, a peace and security officer for the pancontinental union, who is based at the organization's headquarters in neighboring Ethiopia. Still, Mr. Katembe, who based his information on reports from diplomats and other witnesses in the Eritrean capital, said it was unclear if the soldiers sought to overthrow the government.
The soldiers held all of the ministry workers - including the daughter of Eritrea tyrant, Elsa I Afareki, who was justed assigned to the ministry captive.
There are also reports that a planed Sudan Airlines Flight was unable to land in Asmara.
Attempts to reach the tyrant's officials failed because their phones remained unanswered.
All of Eritrea tyrant's propanganda media, TV, Radio stations, websites, are out of service and/or broadcasting archived programs.
This news of possible coup in Eritrea coupled with the damning HRW report has caued the stocks of Nevsun Mining Co.to decline sharply!
