Italy's deputy FM: Under Eritrea tyrant, Asmara Substantially Isolated!

ROME, Italy, July 2, 2014- "It's time for a new start". This was Deputy Minister Pistelli's comment during his visit to Asmara - the first visit to Eritrea by a member of the government since 1997, with the mission by the President of the Republic at that time, Oscar Luigi Scalfaro.
Yesterday, Italy's deputy FM, Lapo Pistelli, travelled to Eritrea in his capacity as a member of EU's Italian Presidency and let Eritrea tyrant know that, although Italy is Eritrea's second largest trading partner it has been difficult to realize it because 'under Eritrea tyrant, Asmara is substantially isolated', one more embarrassment for Eritrea tyrant!
Pistelli said "The aim of his visit is precisely stimulate the availability of Eritrea for constructive dialogue with the countries of the region, participation in the stabilization of the Horn of Africa, commitment to protect Human Rights and fight against terrorism and transnational crime".
