Rwanda, Uganda: Can't handle Eritrean, Sudanese refugees? We host them for the right price!
This in not the first time that Rwanda and Uganda are being mentioned in assocition with this matter nor is Israel's scandalous treatment of Eritrean and Sudanese refugees in particular and African refugees in general. It is an old story!
Israel's scandalous treatment of African refugees flared up again when last week the news of Israel starting to deport Eritrean and Sudanese refugees to Rwanda and Uganda popped up in Israeli media outlets.
While Rwanda in a press conference confirmed the news, Uganda did not reject the plan but protested the news for lack of prior proper arrangement and closure of a deal. And what is the deal? Mega Million cash including arms and trade deals in exchange for hosting the deported refugees, which hosting is covered and paid for by UNHCR Funds!
It is a shame for Rwanda and Uganda to use and make money off African refugees as source of revenue. How is that Rwanda and Uganda making money off African refugees different than that of Gangs like human traffickers making money off refugees?
