After Eritrea, Swiss POL's likely to call Botswana Africa's Switzerland- Radio24 07 March 2016 Swiss politicians' findings/take following their recent whistle-stop Eritrea trip has been local Media laughingstock and subject to ridicule. One such media is, Switzerland's own and Zurich's marquee radio station Radio24. In its evening report, Radio24 host introduced the matter sarcastically as follows: Eritrea: Romantic sunset, cute and happy children playing on the streets, nice and warm, restaurants open late evenings with plenty of food, new Currency Notes, beautiful Scenery, findings of 4 Swiss politicians that just returned from Eritrea following 6 days visit- It's got to be thrilling to hear all that of Eritrea. And thanks to them politicians we now know Eritrea is not as bad as it is reported by the Media. That a left-wing and right-wing politicians concur that Eritrea is not North Korea of Africa got to be credible, huh? And then turns to the Station's Federal House reporter, Mathias Berlocher, and asks: Does all that now mean it is safe to deport the 10,000 Eritrean asylees in Switzerland to Eritrea? Mr. Berlocher's answer was loud and solid NO and characterized and dismissed the statements of the said Swiss Politicians as naïve! Speaking of naiveté, same reporter posited that given the chance to visit, Swiss politicians were likely to call Botswana Africa's Switzerland for the simply reason both countries are rich, have no refugees! Nothing wrong with that but it would be naïve!  By the same token, one might add, given the chance, the Swiss politicians that visited Asmara would have come across a large Statue/Monument of the Russian Alexander Pushkin and then came back calling Eritrea Africa's Russia because there are many Alexander Pushkin's Statutes in Russia!
