UNHCR in talks to send African migrants to 'safe' Countries let others stay

In the case of the saga of African  refugees, mainly Eritreans, in Israel, the UNHCR has now reportedly intervened with a win-win suggestion: On the one hand rescues the refugees from Israels bruttal treatment, and on the other hand saves Israel a bigtime embarrassment in its dealings with African Refugees. "UN's refugee body confirms talks with Israeli and foreign governments on a deal that would enable some asylum seekers to stay in Israel permanently, resettle others.

Israel is in negotiations with the United Nations High Commission on Refugees to resettle a portion of African asylum seekers in third countries deemed by the UN to be "safe," possibly including Western countries, in exchange for some of the refugees to be given permanent residency in Israel".
