EU parliament hit by
hysteria |
Lashes out nonsense
at Eritrea |
Running amok with
concocted resolution |
Another try to scare
Eritrea not a solution |
It was the purpose
of their Feb7 convention |
To speak democracy
but mean intervention |
They tried it
lately; it is déjà vu all over again |
Same answer: Our
sovereignty not a bargain |
Pulled their
embassies to press nation in vain |
But they sent them back
for there was no gain |
“Human rights” was
then cause of diplomatic row “Democracy” is the guise
for EU intervention now |
Eritrea, a sovereign
State passes measures |
To tackle national
issues best way it figures |
No steps taken by
any national government |
Satisfy the needs of
every political movement |
That is how
democracy functions |
I do not know of any
exceptions |
Not all Eritreans
accept wholly |
Resolution of
National Assembly |
But that is between
them exclusively |
And their assembly
members directly |
Measures of our
national government |
Do not have to
please EU parliament? |
But EU dares to
influence Eirtrean politics |
Using foreign Aid as
leverage in its tactics |
Yes to demand
democratic governance of a nation |
But resounding NO to
EU foreign aid subjugation |
Measures taken
consistent or not with democracy |
EU Foreign Aid will
not dictate our internal policy |
That’s surrendering
national independence |
And bowing to EU’s foreign
aid influence |
EU’s ultimatum is
intervention in Eritrea’s matter |
Contrary to UN, OAU,
and even EU charter |
No excuse for
violating our political sovereignty |
EU and others need
to know this one veracity |
No need to justify measures
to EU’s happiness |
EU’s motion violates
all Charters, regardless |
Assembly measures
are for Eritreans to discuss |
It is not at all
EU’s or someone else’s business |
It is arrogant
intervention in Eritrea’s internal matters EU action has nothing to do with
assembly measures |
We have right to vent
EU-dismay&frustration As always without panic or hullabaloo
action MOFA has already responded
diplomatically One only needs to convey that
physically By sending message to EU members And marching to their headquarters Like before,
Eritreans will rely on their resources |
EU’s assault will
wane; they will regain their senses |
EU’s second try will
again fail |
Because Eritrea is
not for sale |
EU Blues will be: O’ Mama Mia
WE cannot
dominate Eritrea |
