Eritrea’s president arrives in Tripoli

Libya,11/04 - President Issaias Afeworki of Eritrea arrived in Tripoli
Wednesday evening at the head of a high- powered delegation on a visit whose
duration was not specified.
On arrival at the Maatigua international airport near Tripoli, Afeworki was met
by General Aboubakr Younes Jaber and the deputy foreign minister for African
affairs, Said Hefyana.
The secretary general of the Community of Sahel-Saharan States (CEN-SAD),
Mohamed Al-Madani and several ambassadors accredited to Libya were also at the
airport.
The Eritrean President was scheduled to hold discussion early Wednesday night
with the Libyan leader, Colonel Moammar Kadhafi. Angop
