Saudi Arabia sends food to drought-stricken Eritrea
Asmara, July 19, SPA -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has extended 300
ton of food materials to Eritrea. The relief assistance was delivered by Saudi
ambassador to Eritrea Nasser Al-Rashidan to the Director of the Relief
Committee in Eritrea on Monday.
Ambassador Nasir al-Rashidan said the donation was another
quantity of food provided by the kingdom as help to the State of Eritrea. He
added that it was an extension of the kingdom's positive and humanitarian
stance towards states which suffer from tragedies and catastrophes and a
contribution to alleviate the harm caused by drought in Eritrea.
