Libyan, Eritrean leaders discuss African issues over phone
Tripoli, Libya,
31 October 2004 - The brother leader of the revolution [Mu'ammar al-Qadhafi]
and the president of the State of Eritrea and member of the Community of the
Sahel and Saharan States' [Comessa] Presidential Council, Isayas Afewerki,
today held a telephone conversation. The conversation was within the context of
continuing consultation on African issues, including the African Union [AU],
the Darfur question and regional issues, in general, in addition to
international issues of common concern.
