KHARTOUM, Dec 27 (Saba)- The Presidents of Yemen and Sudan and the Prime Minister of Ethiopia held a press conference in Khartoum on Monday as the third summit of the forum that groups their countries closed.

The leaders of the Sana'a Forum for Cooperation discussed an initiative from Yemen to resolve dispute between the countries of the Horn of Africa region especially the Sudan-Eritrea dispute.

President Saleh announced that during his talks with Eritrean President Isaias Afworki, he found him to be ready for dialogue with Sudan and Ethiopia.

He contended that Yemen would continue to patch up the differences between Eritrea with the two countries.

In a related matter, it is also to be noted that at the conclusion of Afwerki' visit to Yemen, in a press conference he held, President Ali Abdalla Saleh underlined the fact that in order for secure peace and stability to prevail in the region, it is imperative to abide by international laws and rulings and that "dialogue should come before the outbreak of war and going to court, calling for dialogue after the fact of conflict can only worsen the situation of the peoples."
